Gourmet Festival in Buda

The largest gastro festival of Hungary is held in the Millenaris Park in Buda. This is the place where you can taste the best of local cuisine since many restaurants, Budapest's fine dining places, street food bars, cake shops will be present. August 20th is one of the most important national holidays in Hungary. We celebrate the foundation of the state by the nation's first king, St. Stephen. Celebrations take place at the Parliament, and the riverbanks in both Buda and Pest. The highlight of the day is an impressive fireworks launched from ships on the Danube.
