Krak’n RubYnk Fruit Beer

  • 4.4% ABV
  • 15 IBU

She is like a real Old Lady: sweet in the beginning and bitter in the aftertaste. A creamy dark lager with smooth malty taste (as a traditional dunkel) spiced up with sour-cherry flavor after the fermentation.

Alulu IPA

New England-style by Hopfanatic Brewery (Kiskunhalas)

  • 5% ABV

Zodiak IPA IPA – Red Ale

  • by Synthesis Brewery (Budapest)
  • 6.5% ABV
  • 50 IBU

An American-style red IPA flavoured with rye and with 6,5 % alcohol content.

Grapefruit-orange notes mixed with other tropical fruits can be scented. When tasted the fruity notes are combined with a kind of rye-hop spiciness.

Later it smooths out with the appearance of hop aroma and dried fruit notes.

Sour Cherry Fruit Beer

by Synthesis Brewery (Budapest)

  • 13 IBU

Unfiltered Belgian-style wheat beer with sour cherry flavour.

Krak’n IPA IPA – English

  • 6.2% A
  • BV55 IBU

It’s the hop lover’s dream with a fruity aroma, set off by a thick caramel malt middle, and long tropical hop finish.

Close your eyes and imagine the steampunk copper-age via this full-bodied amber IPA made just for us.

Krak’n Pils

A real Czech Pilsener.

  • 5% ABV
  • 15 IBU

It’s brewed in Czech and follow’s the original method to lend full body with deep opal color.

The trick lies in the unfiltered technology and the extra wheat malt.

Steambeer Lager – Pale

  • 5% ABV
  • 24 IBU

Originally steam beer was made in 19th-century California as the cheap beer for blue collar workers. The specialty of this lager is the fermentation of the yeast, which happens at higher temperatures.

An easy to drink regular beer with Saaz hops by Krak’n Town.

Monkey Temple Hefeweizen

A Bavarian-style wheat beer by Mad Scientist Brewery.

  • 4.6% ABV
  • 13 IBU

Spiced with real Madagascar vanilla. Banana, clove, and vanilla notes, creamy body and slightly carbonated feel.

Chinatown Sour

A Gose-style beer by Mad Scientist Brewery

  • 5.1% ABV

A traditionally soured Gose with sichuan peppers.

About Krak’n Town Bar

Krak’n is one of Budapest’s coolest underground bars with

  • a steampunk theme and
  • focusing on freshly tapped local artisan brews. 

It’s located on József krt., the Grand Boulevard near Rákóczi tér (M4 metro station).

15 micro brews by the best Hungarian craft brew makers are on tap constantly.

Prices are around 500 – 600 HUF for a 200 ml glass and 900 – 1 100 HUF for a 400 ml mug of beer.

The food is outstanding too with traditional British specialties on the menu:

  • Black puding with prawns, couscous and  carrots
  • steaks, or
  • beef cheeks made with stout, pearl barley, carrots, and paprika jus.

The decor is typical steampunk era with copper pipes snaking around the papered walls, cogwheels and air ballons on 3 levels.
