Gozsdu Udvar, a series of connected courtyards between Király Street and Dob Street is home to around a dozen of restaurants, cafes and bars.

Aranybástya – opened in 2023 in a refurbished villa – expertly combines history, art and refined gastronomy.

In its place stood a Turkish-era fortress, the polygonal Aranybástya (Golden Bastion), which was mostly destroyed during the recapture of the castle in 1686, but its remnants can still be found on the bastion level.
